Janet will be teaching Bucks this Saturday.  If you are interested this is a good pattern to learn by.  Bring your pillow and bobbins.  I'm not sure how much of what you'll need.

Your own projects and company are just as welcome.

March Meeting

March is the pot luck.  It's also show and tell.  Bring something yummy to eat for lunch and show off your projects.

We'll be working on the pin cushions for convention.  For forming the "petals" you'll need a large sized embroidery/crewel needle.  X-stitch floss will be provided, but if anyone has floss they want to get used up, bring it.

We'll be meeting on the second floor in the kitchen area.

Button Tatting

Button tatting was the thing this Saturday.  With Marie showing us how to work around a 4 hole button.

A number of important ideas came up.  Perhaps the most pressing being that we need to reconstruct that hours from June of last year.  All demos, teaching, etc.  This includes hours spent on ANYTHING for convention.   We need this by May so try and bring what you know for next month.

We still need a bunch of "60" for convention, as well as bags.  Next month we will be finishing up the pin cushions.  It's also the pot luck and show ans tell so finish up some projects cook up something yummy and come have fun.

Lace Forums

http://laceioli.ning.com/

The national guild now has a forum site on ning.  The link above will take you to it so you can sign up.  This is the same forum style used by the Needle Lace Talk group  - HERE .  You can join discussion groups about specific types of lace, post photos, and share things.  I think it's a great way to connect with other lace makers.

Also, if you don't already know about it there is a fantastic online tatting group Intatters
